Partner Earth Education Center at Sweetwater Sanctuary has become a home away from home for so many who have found their way here over the years. Folks tell me they even visit in their dreams as a way to stay connected to this most powerful land. Even though this is our residence we know we can never “own” the land. The land is not a possession to hoard; it is a gift from creator and our Earth Mother which nourishes us all. When you come to Sweetwater Sanctuary this land speaks to you and opens your heart to the life giving forces. Sweetwater Sanctuary brings you home to your own wild nature helping you to remember your indigenous soul. When you share your resources with Partner Earth Education Center you are supporting your home within the wider nature of living, growing and loving.

There are a few ways you can support the on-going work, play and feeding of life at Sweetwater Sanctuary. You helped us so much after Hurricane Irene to restore the stream bank. Next we need to do massive replanting in the spring and will need to bring in plants, additional labor help and perhaps some large equipment to create new gardens.

We are in the planning stages of a research project for next summer that measures the effects of plant/people communication. This will require renting a very expensive camera that photographs energy fields.

Former students and other interested folks are in the planning stages of a Nature Renaissance Cooperative. This is so new we’re not even sure what we need yet but eventually we would like to hire a person to coordinate this effort.
