Basics for Understanding Medicinal and Edible Plants

This course includes learning to:

    • use plant medicines for optimizing your health and well being

    • understand basic botany

    • identify plants through various methods

    • understand plant constituents and how they effect your whole being

    • identify and eat wild edibles as well as recipes to cook wild plants

    • use plants for shelter, clothing, dying, fiber, basketry, etc

    • make preparations from plants including tinctures, flower essences, infused oils, distilled plant waters, water based infusions and teas

    • ceremonially prepare plants for the purposes of “plant initiations”

    • work with the power of prayer and love to enhance your plant food and medicine bringing harmony with you and nature.

The cost for Heart of Herbalism is $900 if paid in full prior to May 30th.
After this the cost is $1000 (no exceptions, please).
The dates are July 20 – 26.

This week long intensive format allows for easier access for those traveling from a distance.
Cost includes all instruction, materials, lodging and meals.
Class begins at 10:00 am on Friday and ends at approximately 3:00 pm on Thursday.
A non-refundable $200 deposit paid by check or money order will hold your space which will then be deducted from the cost. There are no refunds once you have started the course. You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
